Hi there! I'm not sure what you really want to know about me, so I've put together a little list of things people have asked about over the years. Don't see what you're looking for? Email me and let's chat!

What's this all about, then?
Well, this is my gallery site. It's mostly got photographs, but I like to put up some of my other work too. You can order prints or downloads, or contact me directly for image editing or photography.

What other work?
Take a look at my Photoshop Prerelease Samples gallery. It's got some examples of how I use Photoshop beyond editing photos. I do some digital painting, 3D work, compositing, and special effects.

What do you mean by 'Compositing'?
Compositing is simply a blending of base elements. In this case, I like to blend photographs with other photos and 3D elements. In particular, I like to go for realism, though you can find all manner of fantasy and illustrative examples online. Photoshop is great for creating your own reality :)

So you use Photoshop? Does that mean you're not really a photographer?
Most modern photographers use some kind of digital post-processing. Prior to computers, photographers manipulated images in the dark room for best effect. And compositing was done WAY back in the olden days, usually to remove political rivals or those who fell out of favor.

I am a Photoshop educator, author, Adobe Community Professional, user group manager, blah blah blah. I don't usually bill myself as a photographer, but as a digital artist. I can shoot pretty well, and I love doing it. But the majority of my work is in post processing. Note that I am not a graphic designer! I know plenty of them if you need logos, web sites, branding, etc.

If you're interested in learning more about photography and digital imaging, head over to my blog. When I post tutorials around the web, you'll be able to find them from there, and keep up on Photoshop and photography news. From time to time, I write reviews and have goodies to give away (expensive ones!). It's probably well worth your time to go check it out.

I'd greatly appreciate comments and notes in my guestbook. From time to time, I'll choose a comment I like and offer a freebie or other goodie to the commenter (be sure to leave your email address!), or you can subscribe to my newsletter and keep up to date. I also welcome comments or suggestions on individual images.

Thanks for visiting!
